Crisis In Pakistan

Crisis
A crisis is any unstable and dangerous social situation regarding economic, military, personal, political, or societal affairs, especially one involving a coming sudden change. More shortly, it is a term meaning 'a testing time' or 'emergency event'.
Apart from natural crises that are inherently unpredictable most of the crises that we face are created by man. Hence the requirements of their being 'unexpected' depends upon man failing to note the onset of crisis conditions. Some of our inability to recognise crises before they become dangerous is due to denial and other psychological responses that provide succour and protection for our emotions.

Crisis in Pakistan
In the recent years, Pakistan has become the paradise of smugglers, kidnapper and black marketers. No day goes by, when we are not suffering from the shortage of something. That something sometimes is cement or it is rice, or it is sugar, or it is pulses, or it is vegetables like potato, tomato or many others
Pakistan is experiencing a major existential crisis. But crises are mixed blessings which can lead to failure or succession. They can cause a breakdown or become a productive ground for a step forward. Some Pakistanis are worried that Pakistan, like Iraq, is heading towards a civil war where thousands of innocent men, women and children will be killed because of the many social and economical crises.

Overview of these Crises
Food Crisis:-
Extreme and protracted shortage of food, resulting in widespread hunger and a substantial increase in the death rate.

Pakistan is an agricultural land. But now due to corruption of Pakistan's leaders people are facing wheat crisis. As it is an agriculture based country with most of its population living in rural areas practicing agriculture, yet it is one of the many developing nations facing a serious food crisis that is think to cause wide scale food riots if the problems are not taken care of at the earliest.

Sugar crises
Pakistan is a country of crisis and shortages. Especially the thing which is produced in Pakistan becomes rare in Pakistan sometimes. In fact this is a game which Pakistani Government plays to keep its nation entertained in case they get bored with abundance of everything.
Flour crisis
The Pakistani nation is starving, Government and his cruel army is thriving. Flour crisis in Pakistan is worsening. People have to be in long lines to get one small bag of flour just for their basic needs. And the saddest thing is that 100% of Pakistani people use flour daily for their meals. It is the most essential commodity for rich and poor both.
Musharaf and his gang off course.................they have made it clear that they are the only humans in Pakistan who should have their all needs met.......they have tried their best to discredit the basic right of poor Pakistani citizens by depriving them of food and then shelters.........they have tried their best to make sure that mush dog and his allies should govern starved nation boundlessly...when a governance fails to provide the basic needs to poor citizens then they have NO right, absolutely NO right to for the governance.........
Power and Electricity crisis:-
The country is facing a huge electric power crisis today. This crisis appears insurmountable in the near or even long-term future, unless proper understanding and correct implementation is undertaken on priority basis.
The country may plunge into energy crisis by the year 2007 due to rising electricity demand which enters into double digit figure following increasing sale of electrical and electronic appliances on lease finance. Whatever resources are available are simply too expensive to buy or already acquired by countries which had planned and acted long time ago. Delayed efforts in the exploration sector have not been able to find sufficient amounts of energy resources.
Political turmoil:-
Government affairs in the state of confusion are political turmoil. Pakistan is facing a huge number of crises in politics.

Refugee crisis:-
The  refugee crisis in Pakistan is the massive displacement of civilians in the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) of Pakistan that is occurring due to Operation Black Thunderstorm.
Pakistan is facing a major refugee crisis, with some two million people having fled the war zone in the Swat valley. They are moving to other regions in the country, where makeshift refugee camps are quickly put up by the authorities and aid organizations.
"The situation in these refugee camps is very serious, especially for women. There are no arrangements for privacy for women and there is no police or other forms of protection. So for women it is actually a very dangerous situation to be in".

Judicial crisis:-
A judicial crisis began with President Musharraf’s summary March 2007 discharge of the country’s Chief Justice, Iftikhar Chaudhry, on charges of favoritism and misconduct. Analysts widely believe the action was an attempt by Musharraf to remove a potential hurdle to his continued roles as president and army chief, given Chaudhry’s rulings that exhibited independence and went contrary to government expectations. The move triggered immediate outrage among Pakistani lawyers; ensuing street protests by opposition activists grew in scale.

Economical Crisis
A situation in which the economy of a country experiences a sudden decline brought on by a financial crisis. An economy facing an economic crisis will most likely experience a falling GDP (gross domestic progress), a drying up of liquidity and rising/falling prices due to inflation/deflation. An economic crisis can take the form of a recession or a depression
Pakistan's economy had been suffering, dwindling and withering gradually because of the disorganized, unimplementable, flawful planning & idea generation by its ministers and concerned individuals that were definitely not in the interest of the country.
At the moment Pakistan is holding a bucket full of different  diversified challenges, problems and crises in almost all the reasonable fronts i.e. the political front, the adverse law and order situation as well as unavailability of infrastructure for economic growth.
About 39 per cent increase in import of food group items, significant import of transport equipment and heavy oil import bill just adds to the severity of the scenario and creates a further pressure on rupee as compared to dollar hence devaluation is seen. With the exports decreasing and imports increasing how is it possible to reach an economic level i.e. termed as recovered.

Causes of Economical Crisis

Now that the nation is going through an economic crisis, people are talking about how the country can be saved from financial collapse. Unfortunately, even those who compere TV programs don’t know that we ourselves are responsible for our predicament. We have been spending more than our incomes. Even the peon in offices has two airconditioners in their house (bought from money borrowed from banks). We know people who buy new cars every year, just because they want their neighbors to think that they’re still wealthy. Someone should calculate how much Musharraf spent on his many visits to foreign countries when he was running the country. The present leaders, too, should refrain from going on foreign junkets (with hundreds of their sycophants) every now and then.
According to our prime minister
Prime Minister says long years of dictatorship have plunged the country into crises

-- According to him, there's a flour shortage, load-shedding, terrorism and extremism, restoration of judges, economic and, above all, the inflation and unemployment which have their roots in the past

-- Believes high inflation is the result of running the country by printing money and heavy borrowing from the State Bank of Pakistan

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
While I am discussing the unresolved problems of Pakistan, I am also reflecting upon the possible solutions. In this introductory article I can only enlist the solutions as each of them is deserving of a detailed discussion. For Pakistanis to make sure that Pakistan not only survives but also grows and thrives and joins the modern world by becoming a progressive and democratic state, they need to take following steps:

1. The gap between the rich and the poor has to decrease.

2.
A country must keep a balance in its trade and payment making way to the concept of balance of payment and trade demanding effective, efficient policy making.
3. It is must for the government to rely on its own resources in order to get rid of these alarming challenges and obstacles in the recovery of economy.
4. It has always been said that Pakistan is one of the most resourceful country in the world it is for the government to effectively and efficiently exploit its resources in accordance with a profitable, giving, beneficial, problem solving, lucrative PLAN.

5
. Encourage saving by increasing the rate of return on saving bonds etc resulting in the appreciation of the Pakistani rupee value.

6. All political parties need to present their 5 to 10 year plan to deal with serious economic, religious and social problems so that people know which party will serve them the best.

For some people it might seem like a dream but all nations have to dream before the dream comes true. If Pakistanis did not fulfill that dream, I am afraid their dream might turn into a violent nightmare in the not so distant future.

Conclusion:::::
I think the only thing that is responsible for the economic crisis in Pakistan is the instability of government, the unqualified politicians. The peace factor is also there because the present situation of Pakistan is the worse one. Nor the foreign investor nor the local investor want to invest here because it involve a great risk..
